Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilayka-n-nushūr

O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening; by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.

Allāhumma bika amsaynā, wa bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilayka-l-maṣīr

O Allah, by You we enter the evening and by You we enter the morning; by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the final return.

Al-ḥamdu lillāhi-lladhī aḥyānā baʿda mā amātanā wa ilayhi-n-nushūr

All praise is for Allah, who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

Bismika Allāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā

In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

Bismillāh

In the name of Allah. (If you forget at the start, say: Bismillāhi awwalahu wa ākhirah — in the name of Allah at its beginning and its end.)

Al-ḥamdu lillāhi-lladhī aṭʿamanī hādhā wa razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa lā quwwah

All praise is for Allah, who fed me this and provided it for me without any might or power on my part.

Dhahaba-ẓ-ẓamaʾu wa-btallati-l-ʿurūqu wa thabata-l-ajru in shāʾ Allāh

The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

Bismillāh, tawakkaltu ʿala-llāh, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh

In the name of Allah; I place my trust in Allah; there is no might and no power except with Allah.

Bismillāhi walajnā, wa bismillāhi kharajnā, wa ʿalā rabbinā tawakkalnā

In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-l-khubuthi wa-l-khabāʾith

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all evil and evil beings. (Said after Bismillāh, before entering.)

Ghufrānak

I seek Your forgiveness.

Ashhadu an lā ilāha illa-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

Allāhumma-ftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik

O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka min faḍlik

O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.

Subḥāna-lladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa mā kunnā lahū muqrinīn, wa innā ilā rabbinā lamunqalibūn

Glory be to the One who has placed this at our service, for we could never have done so ourselves; and to our Lord we will surely return.

Rabbi zidnī ʿilmā

My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

Rabbi-rḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā

My Lord, have mercy on them both, as they raised me when I was small.

Rabbanā ātinā fi-d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi-l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ʿadhāba-n-nār

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina-ẓ-ẓālimīn

There is no god but You; glory be to You. Truly, I have been among the wrongdoers. (The supplication of Prophet Yunus)
